That sounds good but when was the last time they sold it in 8lb jugs. Only 1lb's available !!! No more 8 pounders.

Varget 8 pounders (limit 2) were available at MidSouth a few minutes ago....

Are you going to stop eating because of the food prices?

I saw locally 8# of Varget for $273 for a jug, $40 for a pound. I bought some H4350 for $269 since I use more of it and two pounds of Varget since they have a 10lb limit on powder on any visit. Even got 1k of small pistol primers.

It sold out fast.

We better get used to $50+ lb. powder and $100/brick primers. I don't see it going down even when/if supply ever gets back to normal.

Just stopped in my LGS near Dayton OH, reloader 25 $64.99. Several other powders @ $49.99. No thanks! Of course gas just went 5.09 so my prediction of fuel being $5.00 a gallon by the 4th of July is probably only a dollar off.

I remember sir. I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than $20/1000 maybe $25 but I don’t think so. By 2040 or so I may have to pay the higher prices.

Unfortunately at this point I have slowed WAY down on everything listed but eating..... We may be in trouble before long.... Cheddite primers hit $75.00 a K today plus haz and shipping.. Those prices I won't pay.... If we keep paying those prices which I have friends that have to , they will never come down..... I have tons of ammo for what I keep ammo for but yes it pisses me off...

It pisses everyone off but I’m not gonna stop driving, cost me $35 per day to go to work just for diesel but I have to work if I want to shoot!… and I do!… I have to drive to work so I buy diesel, I have to eat because I have no choice if I’m to have enough energy to shoot!…in case you haven’t noticed we’re in big trouble!…you recall December 16th 1773?…… we’re right there once again only this time instead of the British it’s Liberals!…..
I’m gonna keep buying until my bank account reads zero!… and I’m gonna shoot until they pry it from my cold dead hands!…

Omg , the price of fuel and I am waiting for the price of groceries to catch up.... I seriously also think we are in serious trouble and even scarier is I think it's just started price wise.... I looked at my bank account yesterday and was shocked at how far down it's come in such a short time... My wife lost more in her 401k under Biden than she ever had and it's been what 18 months... Here outside Austin TX with the help of Elon and Tesla building here my land value for taxes tripled over night... Because of the taxes that are coming we and alot of others will be moving back down south soon.... They are literally taxing people off their property right now and I don't plan on sticking around to see how long before they get to me.... I am going to take advantage of the super high property evaluation , sell , move and buy a nice place back down south.... Way away from all this " progress ".....

You can go to Powder Valley (I have no ties to them other than as a sometimes customer) and pick up substitute powders.

Varget is not magic dust.

That size tub of 2208 (Adi powder which is varget - supplied to hodgdon) is 470$ aud. We pay more locally and that’s been the price here first several years - where it’s made. Seriously doubt the price will ever go down again there either
