You didn't buy them lately. They would be gone in a second if you wanted to sell them. I have some myself but I bought them 3 or 4 years ago.

That $100 a jug cheaper than I paid for mine!…. I suppose it’s all gone at that price…… I might buy 4 or 5 more lol

That sounds good but when was the last time they sold it in 8lb jugs. Only 1lb's available !!! No more 8 pounders.

Several examples of 8lbers available out there.
Finding a good price on Varget is getting to be like hunting whitetail bucks.
You just have to be patient and eventually you get what you want.

I check it weekly and was able to get some H4831 a couple of weeks ago but they would only let me buy 5 one pounders. That was the Hodgon rifle power in stock.

This probably won’t be too popular, but buy it when it’s available, at the asking price. If it’s not worth it to you, don’t buy it. Simple as that. Complaining about the price does no one any good.

We here in the U.S.A. live in a capitalist country, the best country in the world as far as I’m concerned. Anyone can ask whatever they want for anything. The decision to buy it or not is one of the many freedoms we enjoy. Be thankful we are allowed to own firearms, let alone reload ammunition for them. Others are not so lucky.

I don’t think Dave hates free speech at all actually the opposite. Here’s the deal none of us and I mean NONE of us like these prices and shortages of components!…. It’s not just in our sport is everywhere in all things!… I’m a electrician in a sawmill we can’t get electronic components electrical components hydraulic components etc etc etc!…..but what I see in here in most of the complainant threads they have found it but won’t pay the price then cry they can’t shoot!…I put a thread out the other day for 135 Berger’s I had two forum member clue me in to where they could be had,… one place was $58 per hundred I’m use to paying $30…. Did I like it no!… did I buy 1500 of them?.. yes!… another guy piped up and found them at another location they were $56 per hundred so I bought a thousand there as well. I paid $400 per 8 lb jug of powder in April now I found it for $300…. Am I sad I paid $400?…. No !… not at all I have what I need. If you really want to shoot your gonna pay the piper then you can complain!.. it’s like who’s in office….. if you didn’t vote DONT COMPLAIN!…. It as simple as that

One store in Tulsa sometimes has H4350 and Varget. Its $79.95+tax. Take it or leave it. At a local gunshow in Tulsa this week-end a company out of Georgia was there selling powder, primers and the like. I picked up two pounds of H4350 and a pound of CFE223 for $47 a pound. Not great but better than $80.

I did happen to see Karma work its magic this week-end. Theres this one dealer and I have no idea where he gets his ammo but he seems to have plenty. But he's HIGH!!!!! I saw him sell three box's of 20 gauge for $100 and try to convince the guy how great a deal he was getting. I guess another customer was looking for Large Rifle primers and he came up with a brick. When the guy came back to buy them, the dealer hit him with a $150 price tag. Seems the customer told him to shove them somewhere below the belt line. LOL.
