Usps insurance

Trust me, your congressman doesn't want the PO screwing over a possible voter. You will get results. Turn you verifying info into his office personnel, they will actually be the people who will get it done. I have been this route so I know it works. I provide FREE SHIPPING on all my sales, but it's up to the customer to buy ins if they want it. I DONOT endorse any carriers insurance plans. LDS

What if the carrier is FedEx?

They didnt give a reason
i think there would be some value in appealing….or discussing with the local postmaster.

There might also be value in placing an AirTag on or in your packages in the future and having customers send it back. Then you can just go get it at the house of the person who stole it. Seriously.

Can you imagine looking at the AirTag location daily.….then one day it is at a residence other than the one shipped to. Better would be when you call the local pd and ask for their help recovering your rifle!

Well, usps finally lost a barreled action. This is the first time they have ever lost anything I have shipped. It was insured for $1500. We submitted the claim with as much evidence and reciepts as possible. Denied, they want to gove me $100. Appeal was aslo denied. We spent $18k in shipping last year. Insurance is almost half of that. I dont see a point in insurance going forward. I will probably start self insuring and just eat this one.
Give me a call

Been thru this twice in 9 years, they are a pain in the ass, but they will pay,
We went self insured after the last time as well, less troubles when a mishap occurs

You cant just toss an air tag in a moving object. Every iphone it encounters will get an alert they are being followed. They can then play a sound from it to find it. This was done by apple because stalkers were using them. I get an alert driving with my wifes keys just a mile down the road if her phone is not near. There are trackers available but an air tag is a real bad idea

I’ve had two usps insurance claims and they both paid. I also use a third party ahipping software n that uses shipsurance a third party insurer. They have also paid without too much trouble. Ups on the other hand has never paid non any claim

Yea, good point.

Im a consumer of custom fishing rods. Ive had way more than my fair share show up broken due to length, and most fully insured some just the minimum, and zero times have the big 3 paid

Montana Senator Steve Daines has been outspoken on issues with the USPS. An e-mail to his office concerning a Montana small business' that has been compromised by the USPS may get some resolution to the issue.

At one time UPS was rated at only paying on 60% of their claims, and w/them there is no recourse. LDS

I am currently going through this same issue.

In December I bought a $500 sight from MVA. Tracking shows it’s about 40 miles away at a post office waiting to be delivered. Been that way since Dec 16. USPS said it’s lost, I file a claim online showing all the evidence including extra insurance was purchased. Denied, they send me a letter and a check for $100, but did not give me any actual reason.

I appealed, this time by mail. Sent everything back again, this time highlighting where things were paid.
Also included their letter of denial, noting that they didn’t give me a reason why it was denied.

The appeal was denied and am supposed to now get another letter giving me details on why it was denied. They said I should have received it in 7-10 business days, it’s been almost a month. They apparently lost the letter back to me as well!

Going back it one more try with an insider email I found.

I heard that they deny all claims at the onset no matter what evidence is presented. They are betting on customers giving up.

Dont give up contact the congressman's office in your state. Give that
office COPIES of all of your evidence. This should get the job done. LDS

So after 3 months, the barreled action shows up at the customers. He had already sold off the stock and magazine parts, I already bought him a replacement barrel and action. All I can do is just laugh at this point. First world problems, things could be a lot worse.
