Today was day one of the individuals. The day started with opening ceremonies. It was nice to see so many countries in attendance. 9 in all. The day started relatively mild but got tuff at 800m and nasty at 900m, with some high value fishtail where mirage was not always honest. This is based on what I saw in the mirage and the targets plotted.

I guess Australia got wind of my comment and decided to delay a year. They will be hosting the worlds in 2030, according to the press release I just read. Either in Queensland or South Australia.

Today was a good day at the range, took a little nap at 800m. Conditions were tuff all day but pretty brutal in the afternoon. Had a slight delay to get a wildebeest off the range. Pete and I spent another day evaluating rifles, we are looking pretty good. Shiraz was in a shoot off at 700m, and Kaycie won a junior gold medal at 800m.

Sporty day today, lots of 2’s and 3’s. Took a nap at 809m, that was nice. Shiraz was in a shoot off at 700m, and we had to pause to get a wildebeest off the range. Pete and I continued to evaluate team barrels, we are looking good. Katie won a junior gold medal for 700m and a silver at 800m. Kaycie won a gold junior medal at 800m.
