I used to have that but I removed it so the spreadsheet and photo wasn’t so wide. I tried to keep the range as most know the ranges and locations to keep the important stuff for actions barrels builders etc

When I shot my clean 600 at the first day of the 1000 yard Michigan state championship, it honestly didn’t even cross my mind how special it was after the third match. I turned around and several people were watching to my surprise. Later that night I told my girlfriend as we ate dinner that the entire day of shooting felt so calm and relaxed. I’ve forever chased the feeling I had that day and was hoping to carry it into the second day. Well, in day 2 my 12 year old son is in relay 1 and decided to unrack a loaded round, dumping power in the action, trigger, etc. I was able to get his rifle cleaned up and back on line for him to finish his match. In Relay 2 my girlfriend is shooting her Panda and has a malfunctioning bolt issue with a broken extractor. The bolt is completely welded close and I had to beat it open with a piece of 4x4” post we had. Pulled the bolt out and discovered the problem, ran to car to get her backup bolt, which was supposed to be identical but had .002” less headspace causing every round to be a total bitch to close the bolt. We were able to get her backup online to finish her match with literally seconds to spare as she fired the 20th round. And ALL THIS HAPPENS, before I even go to the line for my relay #3 to continue my perfect run. I ended up shooting a 198 in that match, but honestly getting both of them through their issues and to complete their matches felt like such a huge win, that I had totally forgotten that I was trying to extend the perfect streak. Some days perfection just find you and you really don’t realize until well after the fact. I did tell my girlfriend that the whole day was sort of a blur and everything just felt so easy, like really being in the zone I guess.

Dave, I'm late to the party here, but like that, you showed me what it is to be a true friend, parent, partner, and human being. I can only hope I run into someone as thoughtful and involved as you in future matches I find myself participating in. Trust me, perfection found you no matter what the final score was.
