I have a bunch of Iveys I would not sell. I also have a few Stainless steel Deweys that work just fine, thank you very much. We use a proper rod or bore guide and just as importantly proper fitting brushes and patches. But, I've seen all sorts of improper cleaning techniques at the many matches we've attended. When you're cleaning your bore stand behind the butt with the rifle in a good fitting cleaning cradle, use a proper bore guide. Then stop the jaw jacking and pay attention to the task at hand. Quit overthinking this step of shooting.
