Sorry, I should clarify! The barrel intended for the 60 LD JLKs is a 1:12. Reckon a 55 B-tip would do well enough, and would only be spinnin' ~253,000 RPM @ 4250 fps from the 1:12. Infinitely more survivable!!!

Crazy, but my 1:12 .223 bolt gun won't hit the broad side of a barn with a 55gr or heavier of any shape. It starts liking bullets weighing 53gr and under.

If you want to shoot something heavier, try you some Sierra 63 Gr SMP #1370s. Granted, they are not a long high BC bullet, but they shoot lights out in my 1:12 twist 223 and 1:14 twist 22-250.
