Its pretty sad that it took, i don't know how long this has been going on, but this long for someone to do something about those pirates. i mean come on how many ships did they hold up and rob. what, are we the only country that when you mess with us, you pay with your life.

We weren't the only ones. The French lost one or two during a rescue attempt. There are numerous reasons for the length of time it takes to conduct something of this nature. The most hampering being the,'rules of engagement'.

Yea,If you folks get a chance read the book 'Warrior soul'it goes into the Achille Lauro incident a little, really good read.I have a friend who has worked alongside those guys,he cant say enough good about them!
