Four U.S. Marines at a recruiting center were shot by a 24-year-old male, Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez. The shooter used an AK-47 style rifle and was reportedly sympathetic to ISIS. The shooter was pursued by police and then shot dead in a gunfight. Our condolences to the families of the victims. The shooter was born in Kuwait and had Jordanian citizenship. He was apparently a naturalized U.S. citizen.

This is a terrorist attack by a kuwati who grew up right where he died. His facebook page was on tv and it said clearly he hated Americans and it said ISIS on that page so if Barry thinks he can call it work place violence he will be outed.

This just cant be. Our beloved president said Islam is a religion of peace didn't he. Just like we hardly heard anything about the girl killed by the illegal alien in San Fran this story will be snuffed out soon enough. I was a Marine Recruiter for 3 years and we went through all the be careful training and make yourself a hard target. Ill admit I ALWAYS carried because of crap like this. It wasn't to the point back then that it is now since the president hadn't gone on his world wide apology tour telling the world how sorry all Americans are. Remember the president said ISIS is the JV team.

I truly hope that the President takes a stand against these terrorist's and calls them out for what they are. This is an attack on our Military by terrorist on American soil and nothing less. The Country and its people deserve an answer. These fallen Marines, these Heroes that have more heart and understanding of what it means to be an American than this sorry excuse for a president will ever know...These 4 US Marines deserve closure and a president that will stand up for them and they're families like they did for him. This really has me upset Ill be honest. I figured the Country would go in this direction sooner or later but I never thought it would all happen so fast.

My best advice to anyone is to carry 100% of the time. This is going to become more common as all the weirdos that the liberals invite into the US continue to hate the US and anyone that doesn't pray the correct way to Allah. It not enough to pray to Allah it has to be their way. I carry a badge and we practice in schools in "active shooter training" Sims rounds and about every possible condition that you might encounter. Believe me, we wouldn't be training in those conditions unless the threat is very real. The problem is and always be , response time. How fast can you get there & get deployed? What I can tell you is that once we're in the building, the bad guys don't live long. Isn't a lot of asking for surrender but each room needs to be cleared properly so there is no threat behind you. It all takes precious minutes that someone might not have. Carry, you are your best chance of survival.

Hey LarryH, I retired out of Houston from the P.D. in that city. The very last "In-Service School" I went to was the week long "Active Shooter" class. I was done in a school. It was, without a doubt, the BEST "tactical" style shooting class I ever went to. It was awesome. So I know exactly what you are talking about. We (as in Houston) were one of the first departments to mandate the school. I was VERY glad I went thru it before retirement! GREAT CLASS!

Yes, Very good training and as a part timer, I'm glad that I took time off of the "real" job to participate in it. Our dept trains pretty heavily even though we're not in a high crime area. Mainly due to the fact that about 1 in 25 residents has a concealed carry permit. The general population has pretty much had enough of the druggies/crooks and info flows like a river now. Our dept has put so many drug pushers/supplies/manufacturers in prison during the last year that the hard core users were crying that they couldn't buy drugs. All it takes is electing the proper Sheriff/Judges/ Attorneys that take the job seriously & don't slap wrists. It's a small step at a time, but the country can be taken back from the element that wants to neuter America.
