Not sure about R/F rifles but with C/F rifles any changes does affect harmonics which in turn may very well affect the tuner settings to some degree. When testing ammo at test center, they take gun out of stock and place in vise to find best lots. When you put gun back in stock should this change tuner settings. Thanks
If anything, it might change the tune of the barrel, but it won't affect the ammo's performance. it the lot shoots good the results will show. When testing ammo at test center, they take gun out of stock and place in vise to find best lots. I don’t think you’ll find a test tunnel that will let you tune during the test session. What they claim and I mostly believe, is that quality of tune is not required to select ammo lots. When testing ammo at test center, they take gun out of stock and place in vise to find best lots.
