mostly the dust comes from opening it.. but then again.. don't use that stuff now..There is a small amount of dust unless you use the cover that comes with the Lyman bowl, and certainly it's likely some escapes.
I use mostly ws2 and it's not good for you to breath but with a few exceptions, I usually set the noisy thing outside to run anyway. But other than noise, I've never noticed a lot of dust from it. Some...YES, but it's something that I've kinda smelled a time or so.
Which might explain a lot...or not.
