Trying To Find A Labradar Stand

Hi folks, wonder if someone might be able to help me. In the not so distant past, there was some discussion about a very compact Labradar stand. Looked to be made of aluminum, if memory serves me right. It was rectangular and had four legs that folded out from the base to form the stand.

I have searched and searched, but cannot find it. Might anyone be able to identify this product. Thanks so much.

I like the looks of that tripod. Have you had any gripes about it not being a ball mount type head? Specifically not being able to line up elevation to the target? Or is it usually spot on enough?

I'm thinking about trying this one....


Rifle now I'm using a ball mount fixed to a strip of plywood and clamped to the bench. A compact tripod sure would be a nice upgrade
 
i use a small compact saw horse foldable. the advantage is the thing is directly over the gun and YOU CAN REACH THE BUTTONS from your shooting position. i do use a microphone/trigger on a rod under the bbl at the muzzle

It is a ball head type mount...you can aim up, down, left, right to get it aiming exactly at your target.. another reason I love it. It's a heavy aluminum, very well made. Not some amazon piece of shit.

And it folds up and fits nicely in my pelican with labradar and power pack..

I have zero complaints with it and I use it multiple days a week.. last 3 days In a row. Just got back from using it an hour ago. It's got more use than 90% of the shooters out there and no issues with it. Bought in 2019

Thank you so much for your response to my question. I have a very sturdy small tripod, but I’m trying to move away from the tripods. I like that the other one I’m looking at has four feet, over the three on a tripod. Again, thank you for taking the time to respond to my question.

Bruno's carries the Quad Base mentioned by @Kyle Schultz above. They also carry a tripod stand (All Purpose Stand NEW $49.95), which is what I have been using lately. It works just fine. I'm also liking the tripod mount mentioned by @padom above. It's similar to the one Bruno sells, but puts the LabRadar unit closer to the typical height of a rifle fired from prone due to it being a bit shorter. In my hands, adjustability of the stand is a key element to consider as the LabRadar will fail to register shots when using lightweight bullets such as fired from the .223 Rem if not aimed correctly; i.e. perfectly.

Ned thanks, something to consider, as all I shoot are 223’s.
 
I'm not a gadgeteer like many, but the ARKCO base is truly very practical and useful. It's the only one I've used since purchasing my LabRadar six or eight years ago and I've never found it lacking in any way. There's never a need to detach it and it's takes up minimal space in the soft case with the legs folded in.
 
I use a regular camera tri-pod and set it up next to the bench. It is easily reachable from my sitting position. I need to move the LabRadar forward of the bench (slightly) when shooting braked rifles.
 
Here's a DIY stand. 1/8" plate, rubber feet, and ball head. Allows positioning of the unit past the front edge of the shooting bench. If it makes you nervous, you can weigh down the plate.:)
