I use the same one, although I put the balance on the third column (highest isolation); I use the first column for less sensitive electronics.

The row doesn't matter - the top and bottom outlets in a column are directly connected to each other.

If you are needing a stone slab, call a contractor/supplier that installs stone counter tops and get yourself a cheap/free sink cut-out.
