Very nice to have such decisions to make. The variables and opportunities make this a truly great sport. I used to get a class all zeroed and confident to the point their heads were swollen then i had them take their scopes off and pass to the right (military and all were the same) so they would have to figure it out and re-zero. Almost all wanted to “keep” the one they had and change serial numbers...nope, tomorrow they get theirs back to re-zero again. The point is...use it on both, use it on whatever you want to do well with and don’t worry about it.I just ordered this scope and not sure which rifle to put it on? Do I put it on my Vudoo 22 or my Rem 700 .308 F-TR? The .308 now has a Vortex Golden Eagle on it now. Do I move the GE to the Vudoo and the the Tenmile on my F-TR. Has anybody shoot the Trijicon in F-TR?
Any more details on this now that you have had a while? FOpen scopes above 35X are hard to find and very expensiveI picked up the tenmile a little while ago just to see if it would be close to the Nightforce Comp for use in F Class. Seemed like a risk but Trigicon has a good reputation for the most part. Set it up and did some side by side comparisons with the Nightforce comp. I and another another F Class shooter who looked through it were surprised. The glass on the Trigicon seems a bit better than that of the Nightforce. It is brighter anyway. Both scopes have good color, good resolving power, decent edge to edge sharpness, usable power ranges and nice controls. The reticle in the Nightforce is thinner but the reticle in the Trigicon is not large enough to block the x-ring of the target. I like both but the Trigicon has a street price $500 less than the Nightforce. Hopefully I'll find the time to do a more detailed comparison review in the future.
Still pretty much of the same opinion I formed originally. Used both extensively and I can switch back and forth easily. Some would not like the thicker reticle on the Trijicon but I've used it at 600 and 1000 and do not have issue with it. The Trijicon is heavier as well. I consider both them to be top notch optics and would be hard pressed to say which I prefer.Any more details on this now that you have had a while?
