Thanks for the INFO weight should not be a problem I used the heavy bag rider and can switch it out for a lighter one on my MPA Hybrid chassis.Hey Bill,
I have one on my 284 F/O rifle. I love it. Very clear and bright. Just picked up a second one for my Dasher/WSM switch barrel F/O rifle. Waiting for the rings to put it on. If it were me I would swap out the GE with the Trijicon. But double check your weight. It's a bit of a beast!
I have yet to use the illumination, beside to see how bright it gets.
The only issue I have with the one on my 284 is the side focus is way off on the yardage numbers.(it's the 1st edition that was only called a Accupower). I usually just focus until the parallax is good and the cross hairs don't move so it's not a big deal.
Good luck with it!

That's crazy. I got mine for $1750 USD.I was interested in taking a much closer look at this scope but the Australian retail price puts them at $5600 which would make it $1000 dearer than a March Highmaster with illumination...just can't justify that and I doubt Trijicon will sell any of these down under. The markup is nuts.
Not sure - but is the Falcon x50 the same scope? Looks pretty close to me and they sell in NZ for $1500. I'm planning to have a look at one in the future as their cheaper scopes are really quite good - I have one on my 223 (3.5-18x) and it tracks well. They say that the X50 is japanese and rumour suggests Light Optical Works, who also likely make the Striker and Trijicon.I was interested in taking a much closer look at this scope but the Australian retail price puts them at $5600 which would make it $1000 dearer than a March Highmaster with illumination...just can't justify that and I doubt Trijicon will sell any of these down under. Quite right. I'm told that they all come from Light Optical Works in Japan. Nothing wrong with that however. I have not seen the Stryker and it's price seems a little high given the competition etc. The Falcon is pretty good. Their other, Chinese made scopes - particularly the 3.5-18 are great value. Mine tracks really well on a 223 F-Class Savage.I just looked at the Falcon and it's not even close.
The Trijicon has a 34mm tube, 5-50 power and the Falcon is 30mm and 10-50
plus others things.
The Stryker is very close.
Trijicon's pricing is crazy in NZ too. I guess that we never get the "discounts" that Optics Planet and the like can offer on a regular basis. Our retailers seem to stick with "reccommended retail price" rather than the price that these scopes sell for in the USA. Then add all the time spent on importing and freight, add GST (sales tax for the yanks). Not familiar with the Falcon sorry but I guess the closest scope to the Tenmile in terms of specs is the Delta Stryker which retails for $2350 in Australia, a much more competitive price and similar to the Vortex GE. Prices then jump up to comfortably over $3000 for the likes of NF Comp, Kahles K1050 and Sightron SV which are up around $3500-$3800 and then you've got March kicking off at high 3s into mid 4s.
I don't know what Trijicon were thinking with this pricing other than they obviously couldn't be bothered shipping scopes here at competitive prices.
The delta Stryker is the same scope with a better reticle for 1595 usd. That's crazy. I got mine for $1750 USD.
I heard differently from someone that owns both. Better Reticle offering but been told the Trijicon is of better quality. Turret adjust is nicer, tracking is better and glass quality better on Trijicon. I ordered the 5-50 Accupower but the company never got one in. Decided on the Sightron 10-50. Very happy with it.The delta Stryker is the same scope with a better reticle for 1595 usd.
I can only speak for what another relayed. He likes the turrets better also. He just seemed to think the glass was better in the Trijicon. Think he paid 1565.00 OTD last year on his.the gen II Stryker is not the same scope as the original.
I almost bought the Trigicon but liked the pull up push down locking turrets on the Delta and the reticle better.
Better glass? I would highly doubt that but?
Also keep in mind the import tax on the Delta which brings it to the same price point as the Trigicon.
