Do the folks around there eat the pigs ? I get mixed reviews around our area, we don't have many wild pigs except on a few private ranch's and a lot of the landowners just shoot and leave them saying they are like eating a skunk or coyote as they're scavengers, others eat them and say just a little more lean than regular pigs. Just interested in other areas what happens.Time to get the trap in the background up and running.
You can't kill them fast enough to put a dent in the population.

Generally speaking the females are good eating, as well as the smaller males (less than 75 - 100 lbs).
