Trail camera pics

Yep, that nocturnal stuff gets old. On the plus side, they are generally really good bucks, who’ve gotten to breed for several years. Always a good thing when good genes carry forward.

Would love to see a close up of how that system works.
IMG_20241124_095749981.jpgfloat mounted inside pail(protection from critters) hose from tank to float in small kid pool(clearance at dollar store). A rock on top of pail, couple in the pool helps keep the deer from stepping inside and wrecking pool. I'm looking for a heavier duty pool, possibly a tote container? Will update if a better pool is found.

DEF tote containers have the metal bottom and sides. Just a matter of cutting the cage and plastic height down to what you want. The empty range in price from free to 30-40 bucks. Some are higher.

The cages make for good deer stand frames.

I've thought about them, know where I can get them cheap. Looking for something food grade, hopefully. Looking into a plastic syrup barrel cut in half length wise on a cradle, making a cap covering a third to protect float and the small critter climb out assist.

Speaking of Fat Coons, neighbro's cats ended up at Mikie's house. Got Dogs next door so it's safer at Mikie's and besides that, he feeds us!! Inside/outside cats so they have learned to survive.
Got a couple of pet carriers, took the wire doors off, stuffed them with blankets and placed them on either side of the front door so they can get out of the rain.
Coons. Possums and Skunks come by to see if there's any leftover food. Dishes right in front of the cat beds maybe 2 feet away and the cats will lay there (in their beds) and watch while the critters eat their leftover foods. What a life. :)
