Juppe12, you got my attention with that. What information do you have that Sako has a new rifle coming out replacing the 85? I had thought that the 100 was about it for Sako for a while.

Well, here in Finland couple of gun/hunting journalists have been already rumouring about new gun which replaces 85-series. Also most of finnish gun dealers are suddenly selling 85-series at very low price. My local dealer just told me that there is coming something new but he does not know what, I think that he just couldn't say what.
And for my eyes it would not wise for Sako to replace 85-series with S100 series which is much more expensive than 85-series. I think that Sako 100 is more something like commemorative/top of the line than a gun which suits ordinary hunter.
I am quite sure that before next autumn/end of the year we will here/see something new from Sako.

My sentiments exactly, thanks Mark M. for adding the link.I noticed that the guy in the video mentions that the .243 with be getting an 8 twist in the future.I think Tikka is keyed into what people want and they are sure producing accurate rifles.
They will certainly get some of my money, now to decide on caliber
