Yes we do, and start the state of Jefferson just above Suckemento North. Stay off the coast and wind around Mt. Shasta and Assland . Just my thoughts ,I live here

I discovered this news today too. As someone who is moving to Portland within a month, I cannot express my level of disappointment. How the hell am I going to become a better shooter if I can only shoot 20 rounds per month. I guess you can cancel all the F-class competitions in Oregon. I never thought I would see myself as a gun rights activist, but this legislation goes too far.
Let's be honest. Democrats outnumber Republicans in this country. However, there are a ton of Democrats who strongly believe in 2nd Amendment rights, and they are vomiting over this BS tonight. As someone who associates himself with neither party, I REALLY REALLY want to go on a political rant. Maybe I should start a blog.

Was the suspect a law abiding citizen restricted by state gun laws from carrying certain weapons or could he be a criminal armed with any kind or illegal stolen weapon. Would Jayme Closs' protectors be armed with kitchen knives, baseball bats, or perhaps .22 rimfire with a tube magazine pinched off at the 5 round point.
I hope that this anti gun stuff be revealed for what it really is - dumb thinking by the subservient masses.

At a minimum an “accepting government” that doesn’t accept us or anything we represent.
What we have and it has gained momentum since Obama is a movement to make America a Socialistic country. Obama's legacy and the Democratic politicians, is to make as many citizens dependent on the government by making them dependent on subsidies and welfare. That ensures the populations dependency on them and thereby ensures their vote. If you look at the Blue states, you will find that they are all heavy welfare states. Subsidies are nothing more than a drug, government the drug dealer and citizens their druggies. The more dependent we are on them, the more power and control they have on us.
Prime example. In SeaTac here in Washington State, they voted in a minimum wage of $15 per hour. Sounds great, make people more independent and able to support themselves. But that isn't what happened. Instead, they found that by getting the additional income they became ineligible for the welfare and subsistence and then demanded that they not be required to work as many hours so that they could get their fix (welfare and subsistence) from their drug pushers (government). Now many only work a minimum number of hours so that they are still eligible. The winner is the government, the losers was the small businesses.
This is another reason why the Democratic (Socialist) party wants to open our borders and allow illegal aliens to flood our country and why the immigrants want to come into our country. They want the hand outs and by getting it, they will become dependent on the government. This will insure the Socialists absolute control.
There is another example of this dependency in the not too distant past. It started with the reconstruction of Germany after WWI. Their economy was in shambles, promises of support, wages for all and a secure future. Brown shirts became soldiers, free speech was squelched by the social party, and curriculums in schools no longer taught both sides so students could make their own decisions. History was altered or not taught, after all, when we fail to understand the past, we are destined to repeat it.
Anyone see any relationship here. I hope so, this does not happen overnight. It happens a little at a time, by the time the majority see it, it will be too late and our life will be over. What we are seeing is the movement to eventually disarm the population under the guise of protecting the masses. They know that these laws will do nothing to curve the shootings. It is nothing more than a means to an end.
It is admirable to want to help people get on their feet. That is part of what our country is about. But there is a big difference between making a population dependent on the government and giving them a hand up. Yes help them but limit the duration and teach them a new trade so that they can support themselves.
I hope and pray that regardless of which party you align yourself to, that we put our foot down and say no more. Because if you don't, you are witnessing the death of America.

What you say may well be true. But the liberal sickness had it's genesis here in CA and has spread, over time, to other places. Remember, the Tech Cos you mentioned, started here in Silicone Valley and have moved to other states because of the over-Taxation by the liberal Governors like the good ole Brown family starting with Edmond G and then of course his son, the recently departing governor. He was elected on two separated and divided terms of office, with a few Republicans in between. And yet after seeing the carnage the liberals did, the people brought Jr Brown back a second time for more destruction. And why did they do that, for the FREEBEES the damn fool gave to total strangers moving into CA. So sorry if you disagree, but I would respectfully submit California IS responsible and continues to grow liberalism just like Stanislaus County has and continues to grow weed, the same stuff the liberals love to smoke and develop their deranged ideas. And I can't wait to see what our newly esteemed liberal Governor, GAVIN NEWSOM, comes up to bleed us of more tax dollars, (like free college tuition and free Health care for all to include illegal aliens). I have seen it, grew up in it since 1961 when I was a sophomore in HS, lived it as an adult (and still do at 72) and know it is undeniable, that California leads, along with New York, the liberal movement that I believe will eventually destroy our great nation if it isn't stopped. For the new breed of youngster has begun the age of complete entitlement and freebees because they are sure they deserve it and mostly are unwilling to work for it. Our colleges have helped teach them that. And except for the honorable few that join our military, that generation has much to learn and we as a nation, can only hope and pray they see the light, before it's too late.

The voters need to wise up - especially in red states that went for President Trump but voted for Dem senators in 2018. Politicians say "common sense" by convincing voters that a MSR/AR type rifle is not needed and should be banned because it is not suitable for hunting (not true - yotes). They don't buy a hunting license but put on that blaze orange vest each year for obligatory fall photos wielding a shotgun or sitting on farm machinery (guns and farming), just prior to voting. What would the liberal voters do, if instead of the old Savage 99 a MSR was displayed in the pickup trucks gun rack. Every tricky, double speaking, power grasping, big money politician needs to be tossed.

No need to cancel the matches at all. Just a few changes needed. First change the location. Then change how many rounds are needed. You will also need to change the targets. That will take care of your second paragraph.

IMOP you are SO wrong about Democrats cannot be pro-gun! Yes, the EXTREME left is anti-gun, and just like the extreme right they account for much of the money behind many candidates who then promote those extremists ideas. Quid pro quo is the rule in capitalist countries and especially now with unlimited cash being injected into the political stream. Main street Democrats are not promoting confiscating firearms, just closing a few loop holes that allow deranged minds from having easy access to firearms. To get there, they negotiate, and part of that process is to start high and settle for what most consider reasonable and legal. Unfortunately a lot of money is encouraging public servants to be unreasonable. That is where our voices count.
Democrats are not about creating a socialist state, but to allow all citizens the opportunity to live a fulfilling life and be an integral part of Government. That is how the middle class was created. If you recall any of your history, for most of man kinds history it has been rich or poor, nothing in between. The haves and the have nots because the rich always control the government. That changed with the concept of a "chicken in every pot, a car in every garage", giving birth to the middle class. Unions were a big part of that by forcing companies to pay a livable wage and provide safe working conditions, along with health care and some kind of paid vacation. No doubt YOU probably benefited from that, as we all did.

Confabulation is the practice of lying without intent by truly believing and promoting an idea totally unsupported by verifiable fact, but calling it fact. What we see today in the White House and certain TV stations is the most extreme examples of confabulation by government officials and quasi news organizations that, I believe our Country has ever been witness to. And anyone can see that it's tearing apart the very fabric of our society.

History has recorded how bad life can get for everybody when truth is brushed aside in favor of what simply fuels anger and distrust. We've had left and right since I was young, but this socialist movement has grown in strides in the last 10 yrs, and more so in the last 4. Unless something fails them, I do not see it waning anytime soon. And we sure as hell are not going to Vote it away. Trying to fix a problem based on where and when it went wrong is futile here, it was a 70 yr slide.
Right now we are blessed with a 29yr old congress woman from NY who may get some legislation passed via a friggin twitter account. Repulsive as she is to most of us, it is the new norm.
We are living in outright scary times.
To Mr. Texas10, I would prefer to look at stuff like SCOTUS justice confirmation hearings and approval (sort of like a circus and high school drama with unsupported condemnation and crafty timing inflicted on certain candidates having conservative including pro-gun views). Laws get passed by votes in congress and the voting records may be easily seen on-line. Campaign finance records are available which show huge amounts of out of state money being dumped into small population states at a ratio of $ millions per voter (each state has 2 U.S. Senators).
What we have here is projection where the Dems blame the other side for doing their bad stuff through major news media and "Fake News" is a good description.

There is a Plan A and a Plan B. Plan A, obviously, is the measure as proposed, but nobody, not even the sponsors, expects it to pass. When it gets shot down, Plan B comes along, and doesn't it just sound reasonable? The sad thing is the pro-gun people who will call Plan B a "victory" because they "defeated" Plan A.
