Just got back from the best range session this year. I am seriously under gunned for a mile but for now I had to shoot the biggest I have. This was my third attempt. First time out back in May I didn't have enough elevation for the range. Second time out I had a gusty wind at the target from 90 degrees I didn't have at the bench. Today was almost perfect conditions. No wind, sun over my shoulder and just a slight boil. I really thought I had good sight dope but that turned out to be a slight error. I started off wasting my best loads getting on the target. When I finally got where I wanted to be I was down to four rounds. Live and learn. I thought I would share the target photo with guys that can appreciate how hard this was to do. At 77 a lot of things are getting harder to do. The second photo shows oblong holes. My load dropped out of warp speed around 1675.
