Things You’d Like to See Made for the Precision Shooter?

Isn’t that basically the same thing as a .223 Remington?
Not really. You can not alter rimfire ammo used in matches such as ARA or ABRA. Wind blows those little 40g pills all over the place at the slower speeds. Accuracy is determined by "lot" number, not by powder charge, seating depth, etc., as is done with CF rounds. Either you gun "likes" the ammo or it does not.

A weight set that takes up the space between the cheek piece and the stock on adjustable stocks like the manners t4a, t2a etc.
Oooo I love that idea. Like round pieces of tungsten or stainless steel that would fit over the posts of the cheek piece?

I have also made extra-heavy stock spacers out of aluminum, brass, and stainless, as well as the standard plastic ones from McMillan by cutting out more of the middle and filling it with lead shot and epoxy.

Also, if you have your stackup of spacers, you could send them to me taped in order and I’ll fill them all up at once so they’re the same piece. I did that with my most recent heavy bench rig, so that’s certainly something I could do. It adds a bunch of weight with no increase in size, and the weight affects the balance most at the butt end anyway.

Oh, it was entirely intended as a joke! My apologies it wasn’t clearer.

Oh like a whole hunting stock made from G10 or Micarta. That would be very fun. Maybe I could collaborate with @joshb on a design and I could inlet it.
Foundation has been doing it for awhile now.

I’ve seen those stocks and held them in my hand. Very solid and strong. I’ve dealt with Micarta, G10, and the carbon fiber laminate version for knife handles, and it machines really nice. Maybe using a hybrid with a main block of it for the grip and action portion laid up in a standard composite type of stock to save weight might be desireable for hunters? It would put the strength where it needs to be but would cut the weight out of the parts that don’t need it.
