I'm glad I made mine from steel and have a welder. Every time I get a new gun or try a new bullet, it seems I kill my target stand.

Pallets set between steel fence stakes works well for nearly $0. Usually they can be scrounged up if you live in a city, plus find a place that receives delivery via pallet, ask them to keep a few slip sheets for you. Virtually free. Pallet get shot up? No worries, head over to the 7/11 and grab the one next to the dumpster. It will still fit between your posts.

Me too on the big cardboard. I also get things on paper around 25-30 yds when mounting a scope then move it on out. It does save ammo that way. It does take 3+x the "clicks" at a third the distance. I know, I know, I should be talking moa...... )

The local university added another building; when they brought the refrigerators in, I scored what would fit in the work truck. Geez, I could have gotten enough to last decades, if I had had the room....

As it is, I'm good for a couple of years
