The Wheeler F-Open (WFO) Stock

This is a shooter that's respected at the highest levels, currently holds, and has set multiple National records.

His very first shots off this very rifle. This was at a time when the stock wasn't finished, cleared, or painted as a prototype of Wheelers design.

Should be a testament to the shooter, the stock, and the rear bag setup.

At the beginning of this string, I believe the barrel had a round count of 86 rounds.

I love this collaboration! My limited mobility has me leaning into LRBR, but with the ability (in terms of rules) to run the same rifle in the occasional F-Class match. So, primary use is LRBR, and secondary use is F-Open.

Are the fore end sides at the 1/2” spec for LRBR compliance? If not, is there a LRBR version that is 3” wide in order to stay F-Open legal?

Not sure how much advantage I’d be giving up in LRBR by running 3” vs. 4” up front.

I dont do a 3" br stock anymore. Just the 4". The F open stock is 1" like bc said but you can get a bag with short ears so its legal. I would recommend visiting some matches and really deciding on which way you want to go. Because it's hard to build a gun that is truly competitive in both

Are you talking about this bag set Alex? This is one SEB offers and wondering if it's legal for F-Open...
