The Blame Game.....

The worst service and quality always comes from the government.

I got a letter from the VA saying I had to pay back my GI Bill because I hadn’t fullfiled my 4 years of service agreement. Funny thing. I was still in the army and had been for the last 10 years.

After I got out I continued receiving the letters. I’d call the VA, they’d tell me to call SIDPERS, they would tell me to call Armor branch, they would tell me to call the VA. I shit you not.

Then one day, may years later, I got a letter saying my wages were being garnished.

I promptly call my congressman, prodvide him with all the documentation I had been providing to the VA and this 20 year ordeal was solved in less than a week.

Talk about Nina Hertley!

And similar to a well known, high quality receiver maker's advice to: "Buy the best and cry once." True in their case, I've used several in my years of IBS Score Competition. Top notch form, fit, and function.

Unfortunately that axiom is not always true, i.e., high price = quality. :(

I bought a used K&M primer tool a long time ago, for not much money. In the ensuing years, it's been dropped on the floor, in the sand, dirt and mud, rained on, snowed on, had coffee slopped on, bounced around in the range box, and kept in my unheated workshop, in central Maine -30 degree winters. Wipe, rinse, blast with compressed air, or warm up, and it's good to go. Not once has it ever failed to function as designed. Even new a K&M is 1/2 the price of a top-end one, so in this case "the little tool that can" gets my vote for quality (and its company my $). :)

I agree!!

So how far does it gave to go before you call a gunsmith out online.
I supplied a gunsmith components for a 30 BR build Borden action, new Brux HV barrel blank etc.
When I got the build back I told the GS the barrel looked to be a LV, oh no he says it's your barrel it just because of the tuner.
After 2700 rounds and never being able to get it to shoot I sent it to a competent gunsmith Ronnie Long to put a new Ledderer barrel on it.
He confirmed the throat was totally shot out and it was in fact a LV barrel.
Just for the record the caliber it is a 30 BR so the fact the throat was shot out is suspect that it was the barrel I supplied.
There were other instances of shady business that I encountered as well.
Should I have blown him up publicly?

Something such as what you experienced is criminal and should be addressed in some way so others don't get the same treatment. I assume you have already dealt with the Smith one on one

Like a punch in the face!!!
Oh wait that's assault, dont do that.
Documentation and a lawsuit should do it.

Guy here in Arkansas actually did that with a regular old stub tailed cotton mouth, big one bout 30in. Sent it to some politician he was pissed at, that was about 10 years ago. He is supposed to be getting out of the pen this year, don't think I would try that one

I didn't think a snake with half a brain would bite a polly. Probably still can't get the taste out of his mouth
