If I would have known about the 53s at the time I had my 22x47L, i would have run them. I ran the 75s, but would love to see a 53 @ 4200fps or more.Phil,
The .22-250AI would be easier than the 22x47.
Here again, just too much powder for my taste, dozen`t mean that it won`t be a HOT ROD.....
That`s the fun part, deciding what horse to ride...
Phil.
thought about a dasher but wanted more neck, so i went with a 22 BRDX with a 12 twist kreiger. i had a bunch of 63 cheeks that shot very well in a 22 BR but i wanted more speed. using varget i get 3600 fps and one hole. larger ghogs drop dead without a quiver while the small ones explode. as with the 22 DASHER this is a bit of a barell burner if shot hot and a lot, but i use only for ghogs and it should last a long time. another 6 BR wildcat that shoots.Been working on a ridiculous hog rifle. A 22 Dasher, built specifically for the 53gr Vmax. Got 50 cases formed and this morning got to firing some velocity loads. This was with XBR8208, FEDGMM primer, old 6br cases, and 53s @ the lands.
