The new .172" 30 grain bullets from Kindler's dies

The 30 grain bullets I ordered from the man that bought Todd Kindler's dies and equipment.

One had a crease in the jacket (third from right) and a few with pointing irregularities. I haven't weighed or measured them yet but will. There were 5 extra in the order of 200 so no complaints there.

Testing to come in Rem 700 Classic with 9" twist.

I wanted to update this with the current status. I sorted the lot of 200 into two groups by length. The diameters and weights were all consistent enough for me. I wanted to be sure they would be stabilized in my 9 twist at first then increase pressure and velocity. I worked with just two powders, Win760 and Varget.
The bullets performed accurately with all loads. Perfectly stabilized little holes never over 1" for 5 shot groups even with the variable wind I had. Lots of cloverleafs and lots of dime size groups.
I have yet to bust a coyote with one but have the 25.5g load of W760 loaded up for the task. Zeroed at 200 it is about 3/4" high at 100. It was so cold and windy I didn't even check it at the 300 range.
I am expecting good things from the bullet. I just wish they were more affordable.

Not the prettiest bullets, are they?
If they do the job, then I guess they will be fine. Maybe with some practice, if he is really new at this bullet making game, his quality control will improve. Looking forward to further reports on how they work, prior too me ordering a few. Bill K

Hello fellow small caliber enthusiasts.I am new to posting on a forum, so bear with the mistakes. I am interested to find the contact information of the person who bought Todd Kindlers 17caliber bullet making dies. I built a 17 tactical afew years back and shot those 30 gr. golds. I worked up a load for it that shot tiny little ragged holes. My mistake was only buying 1box of them. I sold that rifle later to my regret. I have been thinking about building another one, but if I can't get those bullets back I'll forget it.I am listing my phone number in case someone knows,or can get that info for me My number is (270)393-1001.Those bullets were super accurate and with the great BC they shot very well at long distance.Shed Hunter

Shed, go over to Saubier small caliber forum and I believe in the classifieds he is running an ad. His forum name is ct 17. There are also some threads about them in the general discussion area. Thanks and good luck

Shed , I have no connection to the guy , but his name is Montana Mize and he is located in Texas . His Phone No. per one of the Posts on Saubier is 254-784-0453 . Hope this helps .

He might have seen this thread. He contacted me a couple of weeks back about the bullets and said some of the culls must have got into the order and he would replace them. I have not seen them or heard back after that.

I did get to bust a yote this morning at 155 yards broadside. He went right down but the bullet or bone did exit some.DSC06461.JPG DSC06463.JPG
