2,371 miles round trip. Worth every mile.

She shot some tiny groups under pressure and beat the boys!
Her last 4 targets were 1.520, 1.427 at 600 and 2.715, 4.262 at 1000 yds
For a total of 3.826 agg over 20 targets in 3 days

Happy birthday Sara, and thanks to all that helped make this happen, and run smooth. I made it to the Custer forest in southeast Montana, with just enough light left to get myself parked. About 10-11 more hours tomorrow for me.

Awesome match/format, and most importantly, company. Sign me up again!

Just got back home to Northwestern Pennsylvania after about a 15 hour return trip from the shoot. Wow, what a great time and great people! You will never find better people to be around then Tom and Sarah. They really know how to run a shooting match. They made me feel at home from the instant I met them both. I thought it was very nice that each day before the match started a prayer was spoken. Also after the prayer the Star-Spangled Banner was played and everybody faced the flag with hats removed and hands over hearts. No kneelers or slouches here! I got to make some new acquaintances that that I look forward to seeing again in the future. God willing I am going to go back to this shoot again next year it was a real challenge and all the shooters were fun to be around and very courteous.I would also like to think Lillja rifle barrels and Hornaday for sponsoring lunch. The food was very good and very much appreciated! I didn’t win any hardware at the shoot but what I got will last me with warm memories the rest of my life,it really will. Thank you Tom and Sarah and everybody that was involved in anyway with making this possible. Congratulations to all the winners! Don Mild

Here’s the twenty targets I shot in three days. Bring lots of ammo if you come to this match. I fired 232 rounds. The more targets the better as far as I’m concerned.

I say we all watch a few videos on how to communicate with sign language so we can at the very least carry on a basic conversation with Sara’s dad. I really enjoyed talking with him but I’d like to be able to do so without having to bother Sara

I’m also looking for a nice used 28-32’ motor home because we want to stay at the range next year. If you come across a good deal on a late model class a or class c I’m your huckleberry
