Miley and Austin should have theor Asses before a Congressional, House and Senate Homeland Security and Intelligence combined committee at 8:00 am tomorrow with the answers or they will remain there until the answers come thru. House arrest if needed…

That’s pretty fast! They need more time to “spin” a story then distribute the related talking points to the media and all the players!
 
I don`t know if I should post this on here or the Laugh of the day thread? I just read an article about the FAA issued a warning that anyplane entering the SC airspace yesterday would be shot down if they did not leave. I guess that didn`t apply to the balloon for a week. This crap is really sad. And I don`t understand anyone's thinking that defends it. Jeff

Which begs the question - what was their game plan if it "wandered" over the White House or any of the other 12 properties where Joey calls home.
 
Literally fly a balloon over the United States and the Sheeple are captivated. Mainstream media has done it again. When did people lose all form of common sense ? Let me get this strait.
Every smartphone in the USA was made in China, virtually every computer and computer chip in the USA was made in China, I could keep going. The ADIZ is 200 miles off shore, Alaska is the home of some of our best early warning radar and other sensors. The US was asleep at the switch on this one, We had the right to do what ever we wanted with it 200 miles before it hit our shores. Unfortunately our government and military, those entrusted to protect us decided to hurry up and do nothing.

I don't care what it was ! But the fact remains my family didn't serve and die for this country to have some balloon from gook land fly over and give us the up yours !

There is more to it than that. It's the optics in the message that we sent by our indecision to protect our airspace whether the threat was benign or not. It was only news because it was allowed to continue on.

Strangely enough, if she was in office (god forbid), I think the balloon would not have been allowed to traverse our nation.
