Teslong wifi

Have the rigid bought the wifi for quick range use. Both ipdad and iphone just say searching (downloaded and using wifi image) installed no go deleted then reinstalled still no go power on off etc...no dice any tips

I just went over and helped a bud get his going. First he had the wrong app DL'd. Got the correct one. Second you have to turn the Teslong on then go to settings and wiFi. Look for the WiFi from the Teslong and choose it.

You have to do this each time.

Are you seeing the ‘scope around’ on the WiFi’s list or is that what’s missing? If you’re not seeing it, try holding the power button on for about three or four seconds and then let go and see if it shows up. Other just email them, they’re actually really great at responding.

wifi teslong Connects to the phone or iPad not a problem it shows ups and connects then when you go to open the app it just says searching and doesn’t stop searching

both phone and ipad have no problem finding the teslong just app doesn’t do anything but search

open wifi connect to camera close go open app and just searches
 
As Zilla said, do you have the correct app? Here's what it should look like. Just trying to help rule out issues.

I have had my WiFi bore scope about two weeks. For android and iphone or ipad the manual said use Mo View app works perfect.

Try this if you have not already. Turn on the the Wifi Bore scope first then turn on you phone ,tablet or what ever you use to view with. The go to your wifi setting in your device to connect to the Bore scope wifi signal when you get it connected then open the viewing app and see it that does it. Email from Teslong Support

Sorry that we didn't update it in teslong website.We will update it right now.

yes the correct app is MO-VIEW
 
Tried the new app worked perfect no issues the old app nothing dead....
I think many of the new upgraded Wifi scopes were sent out with the old manual and it confused many of us. Glad you got it working . Also be sure to register at the Teslong site they are working on a new new that is supposed to decrease the glare and they will send you a new mirror free when they get it built.
 
I have tried both apps for my new unit. Neither one works on a Android 5.1 tablet no matter what sequence I try. Just got the unit yesterday. I sent Teslong an email yesterday, currently awaiting response. I will call them tomorrow if no response to the email. I did notice today that the camera cable where it exits the control housing does not come straight out of the housing. It is bent at about 30 degrees as it exits. Is that normal? Could be an issue. I will provide a FYI post when I have answers from Teslong.

No my cable comes straight out . Did you buy it from Amazon? If so send it back sounds like the cable is damaged also does the camera light up on the end? I have a older android tablet also with 5.1 and mine works fine. If the unit has 4 little blue lights on in the handle you should see a Wifi signal on your tablet.

Everything seems to connect, camera leds are lit, 4 blue lights are on, but, I get only a black screen with control icons on the right side. When I turn off the camera, the Wifi for the camera disconnects and the tablet auto connects back to my home Wifi. Thanks for the info on the cable exit. From the looks of things I suspect my cable has exceeded minimum bend radius at the handle. Not good for fiber optics. I'm just gonna send it back to Amazon/Teslong and get a replacement. Seeing as how this was my first Amazon purchase after actually joining, I seem to have a 100% failure rate with Amazon products.:rolleyes: The good part is things can only improve from here.:D

On their website and I'm not seeing how to register my borescope? Can you help?
