No, no issues on my device. Allows viewing on screen and to take pictures.

Get a used tablet or laptop, cheap, no frills. Use it only in your shop, no personal data / pictures.

This is the cheapest way to achieve true security. Separate devices.

Why not just turn the WiFi off on your older, dedicated devices. Give the App all the permission it needs to function properly. As long as you don’t use WiFi, no one can access your info.

I've thought of that and do have an older Ipad that just sits around, still would like to find an app that will allow me to refuse permissions.
I have a HawkEye though.

It has to have permissions to view pics and vids (to display them and to know if you're saving a same filename) and record pics and vids (for obvious reasons.) Images and vids are likely temporarily cached on the device whether you save them or not, so it still needs the permissions.
