the teslong has a 5mm (0.197) mirror tube but on mine the edge of the mirror made the effective diameter more like 0.205 making it impossible to use on .20 cal bbls. after making sure replacement mirror tubes were available in case i botched the job (3 pcs for $15 from teslong site) i took a diamond finger nail file and working under my inspection scope beveled the mirror edge. it cut very easily - the chip you may see in the attached photo was already there from me snagging it on a land before modification.
take your time, light strokes. i got mine to 0.200 without impacting the adhesive bond in any way.
