Taking bets.

4x,

That looks like the list of stuff I got when my 6BR was completed. Be careful in your documentation... you can get overloaded with information real quick with that many variables.

I did a poor job documenting, and was just spraying lead down range until I found something I liked. Though it wasn't even close to a systematic approach, It worked well enough to find a good load for my BR. Good enough to beat the dasher's a few times in 1K competition!
A honest man, I thought I was the only one to get ahead of myself and forget some of the most important things like
DOCUMENTATION, oh well I guess if your barrel holds out your bound to find something it likes ::)

4xforfun,
I am wondering why your first dasher blew up for no reason?
Quote; My old dasher wasn't much of a "learning gun" because of it's propencity to EXPLODE for no friggen reason!!!! Whatever you were trying in that dasher you might not want to try in the new one. Good luck with your new build I hope it shoots lights out for you. I definitely wouldn't overlook the Lapua Scenars I have personally found them to be way easier to tune than bergers. With the history of the dasher and 1000 old 105s on hand I think it shouldn't take long to tune them in ;) Just a side note the old brass you have is probably the old cardboard Lapua brass with thicker necks and it may also be work hardened a little so it may shoot differently than the new blue box brass ??? I again wish you the best and will be waiting to see the results
Oh and my bet would be a stiff charge of Varget w/105 Scenars and 205M about .015 off the lands for final load.
Wayne.
