like some help saving $ and time on 6BR bullet selection

I have a new Savage F Class 1:8 6BR rifle.
( I understand the throat tends to be long on these rifles )

I yet to put one pill down the barrel. And never owned a 6BR rifle before.

200 to 500 are the distances I have available locally.
There is a 600 several hrs away

I would like some recommendations for a bullet selection to match these conditions. This site says this caliber is easy to load for.

Recommended components which seem to be the golden formula include:

Lapua brass
Varget powder
CCI 450 primers

The bullets recommended include bullets from:
Sierra, Hornady, Lapua, Berger

Popular Choices:
Berger 105 VLD Target
Berger 105 Hybrid Target
Berger 105 BT Target
Berger 108 BT Target
Lapua Scenar 105
Lapua Scenar-L 105
Hornady 105 A-Max
Hornady 105 Match
Sierra 107 MK

Question, Since this round is easy to find loads for, is there a recommended bullet and weight for the distances I am going to shoot?
I have collected these components to starting load development:

Lapua brass
Varget
CCI 450
Berger 105 VLD
Berger 105 Hybrid
Sierra 105 A- Max

Based on all I have read a very common successful load is 30gr Varget, cci450, Berger 105 VLD or HYBRID

I am starting to load some rounds starting @ 29.6 Varget
VLD .002 - .006 jump
Hybrid .003 - .008 jump

(When I have successfully arrived on Varget load I would like to try developing H-4895 Load, and one for the A-Max 105's but thats for a later date)

The VLD liked it in the lands in most of my guns. Also from all my testing Varget works better with BR4 primers. Matt

I must have the same guns as Matt (can't shoot like him but.. . ), ditto on everything. I've tried 450's and they were always second to my BR-4s, I dunno why when they work well for many others

.... snip......... Runs about 3/8" at 200yds, but still not good for me. ...... snip........

Wow...... averaging sub 0.180 MOA 5 shot groups at 200 yards and you're unhappy? The folks I know shooting 6mm BR in competition are quite satisfied if they can count on their 5 shot groups averaging below .300 MOA.

Exactly what kind of performance are you expecting?
