Congratulations to all the winners, especially Bart! Well done against the best shooters from several disciplines! And thank you Jim Cline and the others that were involved putting on this awesome shooting event! Samuel Hall
Looking forward to seeing you Piedmont guys next year! Is this enough notice to get it on the schedule?

I would like to thank all the sponsors again for all their support in pulling off this great event! I am humbled by all the great compliments I have gotten and love to hear about how much everyone enjoyed the match. I do this for you shooters who enjoy an out of the normal match that keeps you thinking. I assure you Tack Driver III will be another great event with a few surprises coming from a match director wanting to challenge the shooter. I have sent out registration to everyone who attended Tack Driver II first and will post the registration forms online in the next few days. If you enjoyed yourself, please tell some friends as I would like to have a field full next year and take the competition to another level. Thanks and stay tuned for registration if you would like to attend next year’s event!

I will have say that Mr Cline did a fine job putting this match together and running it so well. I had a great time and was pleased to meet a few of these guys in person.
It was a tough couple of days shooting to say the least, but a few of these guys shined in spite of it.
Thanks to all involved in making this contest possible!

My hat’s off to Jim, Tammy and Hunter for hours and hours of planning and work to pull this type of match off. The whole crew at Mid Carolina Gun Club for being generous hosts with special shout out to Ken, Sam and the target (4H youngsters and parents) for their work all weekend. I can’t explain how I could have so much fun while shooting soooooooooo bad at the same time, but fun was what I had!!! Met some great new people and seen some great old friends and had a blast all weekend over in tent city with folks from SC, Georgia and a Texas crew. I’m forever grateful to get to participate in a sport with such great people and clubs that can pull off something as special as the TackDriver event!!! Already looking forward to #3 in 2022!

As a Short Range Shooter, I would like to give a special shout out to Wayne France.

Considering how few shooters have ever shot clean at 300 yards shooting at a real 300 yard target, for him to only drop 3 points shooting at a 200 yard target at 300 meters in some truly atrocious conditions is a great accomplishment.

He is also one of the most cordial gentlemen I have ever met.

Great Job, Wayne!!

Once again Cline and co. put on the most fun shoot I've ever been to.
The challenges the range presents, the food, comraderey and efficiency in which that match runs is incredible. CONGRATULATIONS to all winners Bart, Wayne and Eddie great shooting guys. Bart bring that bra back next year and let's do it again,
I can't wait......

If I knew the winner from last year would show up for III, I'd come just to watch.

I believe that Dave Way, who finished fourth in the AGG, also shot a 6 BRA

You are correct, I was shooting a 6BR Ackley. If any of you reading this have been on the fence about attending this match come give it a try. It is extremely well run and there are lots of good people to meet. Then there was Roy Hunter but that’s a story unto itself.

Seriously though, it’s a very interesting match and the only one like it anywhere. Lots of different types of rifles, shooters, disciplines and even cartridges. Jim can correct me but as long as it’s 22 pounds or under almost anything is good to go. Give it a try and you won’t regret it.

Thanks for the invitation Jim- I had a blast!

Dave.

I can not for the life of me figure out why in the world anyone would try to tarnish the memory of such a spectacular shoot...Please remove that post pronto
Strange to me on how you've took my post to a negative place. Smh.
Not a tarnish ... The mountain of difficulty in scoring 800+ targets from such good shooters.
I will remove it so no one gets the wrong idea.
