Tack driver format coming to other ranges

Any information out there about tack driver format matches coming to other ranges.

Thought I heard during speedy’s VI video about the possibility.

For the last two years I have held a match similar to the Tack Driver at our local clubs range. We shoot at 200 yds with the 100 yd targets. We shoot (4) 5 shot group and (4) 5 shot score targets. Mostly local shooters and just for fun. Right now the prizes are bragging rights.

There is one coming to South Dakota in June at the new complex out there. Patrick Auer will be the match director and the one to get in touch with. Dakota custom rifles

I shoot at one in Farmland Indiana that's been going on for 3 years. It's 3 score and groups targets at 300yds. Done in one day, and everyone has a good time. Participation has went up all 3 years.

There is a great 25 bench range just outside of Huntsville that has a 400 yard firing line. We held VFS Matches there for several years.
The owner had a problem with bullets escaping the range a few years ago and ceased to have center fire matches. He now does a PRS rim fire format.
His range would be ideal for the TackDriver Format at either 300 meters or 400 yards.

But making this happen………I don’t know.

There is one planned for Vale, OR in June 2026. (That's near Ontario, aka on the eastern border with ID).

Although I'm excited at the prospect of only having to drive 12 hours or so to Oregon, the cross-country sojourn to attend the original will always be an important part of the Tack Driver experience. I plan to make that an annual thing but may try to fit some others in.
The date for the Oregon match coincides with a silhouette match at Deep Creek. I'm planning on that match this year. WH

Agreed.
The LaGrande group put this on last year, was modestly attended. Its has been moved slight east for this year's occurrence. My only involvement is spreading the word. And wanting to participate.

Entry goes out today, Dave said if it's warm there likely will be significant mirage.

i always thought it would attract a variety of disciplines.

WCW Shooting Sports is a local club in Kenmore, WA that has offered the Tackdriver match the last 3 years. I believe it's 4 group and 4 (200yd) score targets all shot at 300 yds.
They have a great facility, and it's a fun match!

If I'm reading correctly, looks like that's a July event. Assuming it's open to everyone that's a relatively close drive for me.

It is currently an Invitational as there are only 18 benches. I emailed the match director to see if I can share his contact info.
