Tack Driver 5

From Vic Smith's post on Facebook:
Jackie Schmidt underwent successful heart stint surgery and is expected to make a full recovery and back on the range as soon as possible where he belongs... lol
Please keep Jackie and his family in your prayers for a speedy recovery...

Sure is getting lonely up here

I appreciate someone representing the 22 PPC! I'd like to participate one year soon, maybe 2026, but my 22 PPC is shooting something a little different:

It's geared for those further out shots...

I have been watching your thread, and like the idea of heavier bullets in the 22ppc. Keep at it and come on down to the tack driver. You will not regret the trip.

Well, it’s 6:30 am, I’m heading to the hospital in about 1 hour. They have to hydrate my Kidneys for several hours, the surgery is at 1:00pm.

I am hoping they can get both Stents put in at this one session so I don’t have to go back in five days for another go. It all depends on how well my kidneys tolerate the procedure.
Good luck

What bullets are you shooting?
90gn SMK in the picture. Berger 85.5 and 90 VLD are working great too. I can get them up to 2960 or so. If you’re interested:

There have been a bunch of questions about this event and if we had any damage from the storm. Mid Carolina gun club is in great shape and ready for the Tack Driver 5. Many of our western NC friends and families were not as lucky. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery a getting back to some sort of normality. Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2 weeks! Thanks, JC

It would be good if all the guys attending could find it in their hearts to help out a fellow shooter. This match is not inexpensive for anyone, so a few bucks is not going to make or break you. Please help.
