Tack Driver 5

I’m still trying to figure out what this “challenge” is y’all are talking about.
Mike, at the vast majority of 100/200/300 yard Benchrest Matches, if you have a left hand shooter sharing a Bench with a right hand shooter, they will compromise the flag line so each shooter will have a reasonable view of the conditions. This is in liu of setting two sets of flags.

Of course, if they so choose, two sets can be used.

At National Events, where you often have enough left handlers to make up a rotation, the Match Directors strive to make up a complete rotation to accommodate the shooters.

The circumstances at The Tack Driver are very unique by the nature of the ranges layout. The last three flags have to be set at such a height that it is impractical to require every shooter to furnish such a specialized set of flags.

So most of us rely on one Shooter to take up the Gauntlet , in our case, (the Texans), Joe Duke has stepped up to the plate. Other rotations have done the same.

We had a Left Handed shooter on our flag set, Kyle Schultz. He seemed satisfied with the flag set, I know I had no beefs. Joe and Wes set them during that Thursday match.

I think it is up to the shooters on the rotation to respect each others needs and come up with a reasonable solution to any problems, or complaints that might arise.

Respect among shooters is as important in having a Match such as this run in a smooth and efficient manner as the Match Directors efforts.

Don’t worry Righties if your on a bench next to me. I weigh 145 and wrap my legs around the bench leg so I don’t blow around as much. I guess I’m a low profile shooter.
