switch from 268 to 272 loads

I have some brass [loaded rounds] turned for a .268 chamber and am getting a new barrel that has a .272 chamber. What could happen if fired in the new .272 chamber besides - the obvious- brass expansion? Should I give ot a try?

Shoot it.
Brass is only expanding half the distance giving you .002 clearance all the way around.

Sorry I had a error in my OP and edited it. Not .268 brass but .268 chamber.

Gotcha, chamber is still only .002 bigger all the way around.
Think about this...
How much clearance is there from say a factory 243 round to a factory rifles chamber?
Personally I'd torch of a couple rounds in the back yard and take some measurements.
