Mike no flags , usually shoot early am or late evening ( essentially no wind ) I try to do this at both short and long ranges if possible to eliminate conditions from the equation( I shoot in the bottom of a drainage ditch and wind is very unpredictable when it’s up ) Thanks for the clarification on the clearance this is what I was after . I have not moved from 100 yards as groups are poor . It could be as simple as barrel not liking the chosen bullet . I took this on for an old friend and am not having much success tuning . Just thought I would quiz others up that have much more experience than I with this chambering. Might be a gun problem ? It’s not mine so can’t say if it bug-holed them before . I sent it out to very competent smith to be barreled . Firing pin spring was changed and protrusion checked .... Appreciate the feed back !
