Can you clean a rifle with suppressor in place or should you remove suppressor prior to cleaning rifle bore?

You CAN clean the barrel with it in place, but I wouldn't. Assuming you are cleaning from the breech end you would be pushing solvent and debris into the can. If you clean from the front,some of the crud from the suppressor would get introduced to the bore. You would be better served to remove it and use a good bore guide.

5" suppressor attached to make it a rifle at
16.25"

clean as normal, then soak suppressor vert in a can of diesel.
shake and be done.

Just account for all patches carefully, one caught up in the can could turn it into a removable quickly
