Stop the Spread?? Yeaahh Right

I just heard by Dr Marc Sigel that Gov Cuomo is inflating needs for ventilators which is what state govts do to stock up at the federal govts expense. I wonder how it will get paid for "Higher Taxes in the near future" . Nothing is free not even our hobby has anything free so in the end we as tax payers are going to foot this extreme bill of over 2 trillion dollars.
NY Post article 2015 our dear leader was told NY should buy ventilators in case of a pandemic, he said no we'll triage (decide who does or doesn't live) now he cries foul

If you're still out there working and living in our filthy environment, where do you think you will get infected?? I had to hand count this wad that I was given as payment for a delivery I made yesterday. -- ALL TWENTIES!! don't even wanna think about where they've been. No, I don't have any hand sanitizer. AND, I'm driving a truck driven by a guy who went home sick. You ever try to effectively wipe down a truck that someone else has been living in every day??

Good luck, everybody. jd

Rubber gloves , a cap full of bleach to a gallon of water and a spray bottle is about to become my addition to CCW. Stay safe we need you here.

Seriously? It is 2020, not 1980, who uses cash these days? Most countries are only allowing contactless payment while this plague is on, might help to reduce the spread.

I guess that the point of my thread is that if we think that we're going to be able to avoid a microscopic virus seed, we're fooling ourselves.

Unless you can totally isolate yourself in an environment where nothing or no one else comes and goes, -- the virus is present.

I spent the night in a motel cleaned by folks who don't know me, and of dubious backgrounds. Everywhere I go, and everyone I see have a good chance of being a carrier, myself included. jd
Virus' have a finite life, and must have new hosts to spread and survive. Yes you can isolate the population from this happening, but it will be highly unpopular with most everyone. The way they're going about this, the virus will be here forever. Government officials have issued an "official stay at home" order, this is to be followed UNLESS you have to go out for something. So it's not a stay at home order, it's just a suggestion and a damned weak one at that. Unless the country is willing to abide by extremely harsh measures, this thing is here to stay.

My co worker Dale proudly told his wife that we were mixing 50/50 bleach and water.:)

Her reaction was more like:eek: you idiots are gonna meltdown...

He’s probably playing it safe, you never know when this virus is going to mutate and start infecting computers.

Money is Filthy, always has been..in the 90's the DEA-FBI- 60 Minuets? Said that 40% of paper bills had Cocaine on one end..guess what was on the other end .

I believe that originally came to light in a criminal trial in Miami. The prosecutor entered some cocaine tainted bills as evidence, and the defense attorney had random bills in circulation tested. I don't know the verdict, but that bit of evidence wasn't too persuasive.
