I avoid such things completely. If I want someone to know something about me then I'll tell them.
That means I don't say a whole lot.
I don't wear clothing or hats with logos. I don't put up stickers anywhere, and I typically 'debadge' things that I buy and particularly vehicles.
I'm not getting paid to advertise for anyone or anything. They want their logo on my stuff they can pay me for it or it comes off. I bought it, it's mine. No longer theirs.

Obviously if more people thought like me there would be a whole bunch of companies out of business. Or at least undergoing bankruptcy reorganization.
I am only interested in how well something fits my need. I could care less how nice a logo looks or how cleaver your advertising campaign is. It's not worth spit if it doesn't work no matter what the 'cool kids' think about it.

We have some lake owners association's who are trying to control public launch/access. State property launches purchased and maintained by fishing license fees.
