started ordering parts

so i finally decided to dip into the world of custom bolt actions
i pre-orderd an ARC Coup De Grâce
Already talked with Southern precision, i will have the action sent to them, to fit a 24" M24 profile Brux
it will be chambered in 6gt
now to decide on the rest
i am thinking:
TT diamond trigger
hawkins m5 bottom metal
undecided on brake atm, possible a little bastard
and the stock and glass are up in the air
leaning toward a foundation with a 5-50 tenmile

anyone use the rcbs matchmaster dies? or should i go for forster non bushing?
also alpha brass or is hornady ok?
i have had no issues so far over 4 firings with the hornady in a grendel

I use the matchmaster set and it sizes my brass perfectly, like butter almost.
I also use Alpha brass and I love it. 6 GT is so easy to load for and I consistently get low single digit SDs, even without true load development.
I have a foundation centurion and I love it and would recommend it to anyone, John-Kyle and his family are some of the best people you will ever deal with.

The little bastard is more than enough for the 6GT. I use the matchmaster dies. They're nice. Nothing wrong with them. Alpha brass is all I've ever used in the GT

Gonna grab one of those CDG actions for a Lapua build once they have the LA available- they do look like great value for the money. Brakes, I started using Nathan Wright's (Muzzle Brakes and More) and am very pleased with them.

wilson makes dies as an option.

Zero. Theyve already done it before
So you think they learned their lesson with the nuc? That’s the only reason that’s kept me from pre-ordering. That launch wasn’t as clean as I would’ve wanted to deal with. That and the bolt color is ugly :D;)

Dusty is an ARC fanboy... for a good reason. He talked me into mausinfield.. I want actions I don't need. They're really cool and incredibly well made.... Always in stock.... For a tactical type action I'd look no further.

I’ve not owned one. I’m a big Zermatt TL3/Origin fan because of the flexibility and the mechanical ejector…lately though seems I’ve been on a Kelbly Atlas/Nanook kick…again, see the trend…I’m getting where I hate a spring ejector. So I’m sure I’ll pick one up at some point. Thanks, I’ll likely wait and see how the initial launch goes before I jump

I took a chance on a CDG, and got one ordered with 223 BF. I opted for the black handle. I have been wanting a 223 bolt rifle for cheaper shooting, (im in dire need of lots of practice), a 20” barrel so its handy in the varmint rack, and this will work for me. Probably go with a Bart 3B 7 twist on this one. Im just not decided on the stock yet.
