I think you mean A-Max, which was replaced by ELD'm perhaps? I wish there was a heavier 22cal V-Max available, but to my knowledge there isn't.I was talking about various bullets anchoring coyotes, and the reason is that I have had friends shooting 75g V max on chucks in 22/250's where they said that the combo did not kill worth a darn.
The bullet is definitely a big factor, if not more so than caliber size I believe. Inside of 200yds, my .223 w/53 V-Max's anchores them better than my .22CM with the 64TGK. The TGK is a tougher bullet and it just punches a wound cavity clean through. The V-Max violently explodes and stays inside. They make squishy/jelly sounds when you pick them up after a chest cavity hit.
Regardless, the Creedmoor is still a better long range round.
