Starline brass in rifles

Has anyone used starline brass in a rifle? How is the quality? I have heard good things about their pistol brass, I was thinking for hunting rounds they may be a good quality alternative at a lower cost than lapua.
I have used 45/70, 30/30 .500 S&W magnums, .500 S&W specials and 40 cal. S&W and have reloaded multiple times with no issues.

I shot the 2019 F-Class Nationals with some Lapua SRP and Starline LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor and didn't notice any problems with it and my scores were about the same.

I am not sure if it is my measurement tools, my technique or my loading tools, dies etc... But i am having a tough time getting consistent shoulder bump in .308 and .270 Win with Starline Brass. One case will barely bump at all, and the next one will be oversized. It is very hard to set up a die with such erratic numbers.

I know about neck lube and all this stuff, and have for a very long time.

Up until i started loading .308 and .270 my experience consisted only of 223 REM, 45-70, 30-30 and various common pistol calibers. Processes are still under investigation, and the brass may not be the problem?

If a guy is looking for brass, they have been the only game in town for a couple years now more or less.

I love the company. Glad they exist and make all these cool old-school calibers still.

I will continue to buy lots of brass from them.

I’m sure you already know this but I have had a lot more consistent measurements when I started to anneal after every firing and leave the brass in the die for a short “soak” period

Bought 600 of the 5.56 brass for my Tac division .223 and loaded up 50 after doing some quick measurements and it looks really good. The 50 I loaded shot great also. Should have my load in another 25-30 rounds.

I use Starling in my 222 Rem and 6.5G so far I have no complaints. I use Lapua in my 222R target rifle and Starling in my hunting 222R.

I used their 6.5CM SRP brass in a Stolle Panda setup and it worked great. Good life and excellent accuracy.

The 222 seems popular...I bought like 4000 pcs of Winchester 222, 220 swift, hundreds of 25-06 when it was available years ago, plus thousands of Remington in 17 Remington.
Starline has good brass and I use in 6mm ARC from 1250 pcs 6.5 grendel and 6.5 grendel basic necked to 6mm ARC. Also 45-90, 300 ham'r, 454 Casull, all Starline. The rest are just about from every manufacturer available around the world in various calibers.

I bought a hundred 223 nickel plated and it's great stuff for what I'm doing with it.I want to try it in my 223 target/bench gun,but I haven't took the time. It's a little thicker than most commercial brass,go slowly as you near max.Quality of it is superb. It's as good as their pistol brass, which is very good.I don't shoot anything else in my 10MM.
