Standardized abbreviation for Creedmoor rounds

I say “Just write the whole name!!” I hate these new abbreviations!! I can’t figure most of them out!.........and GET OFF MY LAWN!!
 
On the main page of this forum there should be a category titled "Why I hate the Creedmoor" Then we can begin adding categories directed at hating other shooting disciplines.

Over the years, it's my observation this is what a fair amount of forum members have evolved to, bashing things they dislike for whatever reason.
 
You guys are too funny! Look, if we come up with a sane abbreviation, then you will no longer have to see the word CREEDMOOR sullying your screen ever again.

I know the perfect solution. While many hate the Creed in any variation, all here seem to love anything based on the 6 BR case--and rightly so. So I propose this:

6mm Creedmoor = 6mm BRL (BR-Long)
6.5 Creedmoor = 260 RS (Rem-Short)

Thoughts? :D
 
There are at least a 1000 Creedmoor's for every competition match ever built and i am not sure if there is in fact a 6.5 competition match. If you really want to name it some thing name it the 6 or 6.5 DD for Dennis De Mille the guy that Hornaday actually went to to finalize the design
and make it all work. He seems to be the only one worth crediting for something good and not making a bunch of money(I don't think) off of it.
