This is kind of silly. Do any of you not know that 6 CM or 6.5 CM, means Creedmoor?

As for bashing the cartridge, why? Don't like it, then don't shoot it! Every new cartridge is touted to be the best thing since sliced bread. Some are and some aren't. The folks who own them, for the most part are happy. Some make exaggerated claims, but that is the case for most cartridges. Still, like any other cartridge, It has it's place. Any rifle that gets me 1/4 inch groups at 100 yards is a winner for me.

Funny, you rarely hear complaints from those who actually own a Creedmoor. Lots of folks using this cartridge in competition.

So why not let well enough alone and stop muddying the waters.

Considering the .264 caliber equates to 6.7mm, how about the 6.7 WGAF.

Not too long ago I did a 6.53 x 49 (.257 wild cat) I did not
pursue it since it was too close to SLR's. I did however lay
plans for necking down my SA284 case to .257 and calling
it the 6.53 Greed More

I don't bash the 6.5 Creedmoor. I have one, shoot it often,
and it has been a great cartridge for what it is. I do know
people that have shot it in competition, and have faired well,
but in all the competition circles, it's still a no show at the top
in any venue.

Here's what 'What the Pros Use' found on which caliber was used in PRS and NRL.
From the data there, it appears 6.5 Creedmoor has less than 5 top 10 finishes in all of PRS and NRL and that about 3% of all competitors even use 6.5 Creedmoor.

I found it interesting that the ~ 85% of all competitors use a 6mm something.

Nick there is virtually nobody that doesn't like the cartridge. It has so much support from the rifle companies and the ammo companies that you don't need to do any thing but pull the trigger. What people don't like is the blind fools that think now that there is a 6.5 Creedmoor that nothing else will even come close. And it isn't that they just think it.

Hey Nick!! I love my two rifles in 6.5 CM! I didn’t even bother putting a scope on the Tikka T3X! I just point it in the general direction of the 200 yard target and pull the trigger.........bullseye every time!:p:eek::eek::eek::rolleyes: Hornady factory ammo, of course!;)

I have the Ruger PRP. Out of the box at 1,000 yards was shooting one hole groups. Then I put a scope on it and did the same at 2,000 yards. Of course factory ammo.
