With the rifle I sold him from my friend Keith's estate.

I've heard that SR Benchrest is stagnant....come show us..

Thanks Dave. That rifle carried me, every shot went where it was supposed to. I wish I had some cool story about holding off on every shot but truth be told I only held for 2 shots out of the 5 groups. Missed the record by .0002”. I had no clue that it was anywhere close to a record, but that last group was a little nerve wracking.

Wayne did find me dies and presses but I would hesitate to call them ancient. Most of you guys I shoot against are older than the dies. Wayne was a huge help in getting started making bullets.

The original owner of these dies made about 1500 bullets on them when he was here in the lower 48 and he shot them and they shot great, and then he was transferred to Alaska- no bench rest shooting there so he took up hand gun competition and the dies sat for about 15 years. I can't remember at the moment but they are either Niemi or Detch.

Greg and I both had a learning process when setting them up as I have only made flat base bullets in the past, so it was a new experience for us both.
