So I typically don't get too excited about the purchase of a new Cooper rifle but I've been looking for a specific model. I was really wanting a Cooper 57 chambered in the tiny little 17 Mach 2. I was hunting for a Jackson Squirrel and WOW did I ever find one. Was the lucky bidder on this gem early this afternoon. It has upgraded French Walnut wood. If you know me, I'm a sucker for nice wood!

That’s a beauty, I’m a sucker for those Coopers also. It will probably shoot as good as it looks.

If your a sucker for wood their is a custom 6mm on her that is a gem. I try not to get on their to as I am also a sucker for wood. It is so nice I could never bring myself to take it to the woods hunting. It would just be money spent to dig out of the safe every now and then to fondle and drool some.

I saw the 6mm and she is PRETTY!!!! Most of my Cooper rifles do not get hunted with. They just make it to the range to punch paper. This one I doubt will come out of the safe much. IMO, my guns are better then money in the bank......at least that is what I tell my wife :)

I have to agree with you their a 10000%

Yup, what he said!

Besides, you can't play with, look at, or fondle money if it's a bank. But guns.....oh yes you can!

A lot of my rifles get that treatment and they don't look anywhere near as good. Ugly girls need love too.

My second wife divorced me because every time I got a new build I had to lay it down beside me in bed at night when I went to sleep for about a week. She did not like the dirty sleep talking either.:D

Out of all the rimfire i have - the Mach 2 is the most accurate and to have a Cooper in it. Just sweet

After winning the auction I went to Cooper's Website.....the price for a new Jackson Squirrel is outrageous and to make this one even sweeter, Cooper does not offer it in the Mach 2 anymore. I can't wait to get a scope on this gal and see how she shoots.

I picked 15k mach 2 rounds for 300 bucks on close out. Love that little round. I shot all of them
up. I think the barrel is smoked now. Its a beautiful stick you picked up
