Sorted some of Roy’s bullets tonight

I decided to test some of Roy Hunter’s bullets. I had 211 left after some quick short range testing and a 1K ladder. Although I have heard nothing but good things about their quality, I decided to check base to ogive with a Holland’s bullet comparator.

I was incredibly impressed. Of the 211, 202 (96%) measured plus or minus .0005” so that was my biggest group. 3 measured less than .001” shorter and 6 measured less than .001” longer. These were 6mm 106’s but I bet all his bullets measure as well.

Nobody and no process is perfect Dusty but there are lots of quality bullets out there now. I’ll sort just in case, looking for that one that got away or certainly will get away as soon as I fire it on a record target at 1K.
